HIBISCUS COAST COMMUNITY RSA GOLF SECTION

The Golf section welcomes all members of the Hibiscus Coast Community RSA to participate in the entertainment and competition of the golf course.

The section gathers on a monthly basis for tournaments at different courses throughout the Auckland area. Prizes are awarded to the best players on the day as well as to winners on the shot holes. Each month is an enjoyable golf tournament and social event for all members of the RSA golf section.

In addition to the regular monthly tournament, the golf section takes part in a number of other events throughout the year. These are mainly done in support of other RSAs and RSA events.

Each year, the golf section arranges a weekend two day tour for its members. Travelling by coach, rounds are played on both Saturday and Sunday with overnight accommodation provided for the Saturday night.

To help subsidise the trips and competitions, money is raised through raffles held after each golf tournament.

At present, the cost of joining the section is $20 a year, payable to John Marston, our RSA golf section treasurer.
