It’s great to have our 8 Ball club running again.
Unfortunately last month our Club Captain Tina resigned due to moving out of the area and family commitments. On behalf of the club I would like to thank Tina for all the effort and work that she put into running the 8 Ball Club over the last few years. We are going to miss her and wish her and Moloi well for the future.
There are a regular number of members coming on Tuesday and Saturday now and we will be having an in-house tournament at least once a month until the end of the year. The first one for this year being the Donovan Cup trophy-open drawn pairs to be held on the 9th July at 2.30pm names must be in by 2.15pm.
Tuesday is a 7pm start, with names in by 6.45pm.
Saturday afternoon starts at 1.30pm, names in by 1.15pm, now that the club is opening at 1pm.
You do not need to be a member of the 8 ball club to play and we welcome visitors Tuesdays and Saturdays, we have both female and male members so come along and give it a try.
If you wish to join the 8 Ball club it is $15 per year if you are an existing HBC Community RSA member. We endeavour to run in-house tournaments throughout the year, go to a few away games, if organised, and have the occasional dinner or outing paid for or subsidised by the club.
